When I learnt that 'Petrichor' means the smell that accompanies the rain, I was mesmerised. What a beautiful word! Are you also obsessed with that monsoon smell of mud and water? Ahh the Monsoon...it's finally here. My favourite season and yet this year it feels slightly different.
I have finally improved my sleep schedule. How did I do it, you may ask? I just wore myself out one fine day because of crying and being irritated and then exercising to distract myself and it worked like a charm. I think I was having a mental breakdown but since it worked out for me, I am not complaining. I was out by 8pm and awake by 6am and so far it has lasted for three days but I am hopeful.
Also, in other news, we are on the brink of having a war with China. We have lost our brave men on the battlefield and the tensions are only rising. I think that at such a time we should really educate ourselves over what is happening and logically try to help our country. I would suggest you all to watch various informative videos on youtube of people like Dhruv Rathee or anyone else that you might like, to understand how we can effectively bring small changes in our daily lives and buying habits. Our Country is going through a tough time and it's really not a time to spread hatred, it's actually never really cool to spread hatred but you get it,right?
I hear the buzz around for a show named 'Dark'. I haven't seen it yet but considering the fact that I instantly feel left out if I don't understand any meme trend, I might soon watch it. I can't be the only weird person who feels the FOMOAM ( fear of missing out a meme). FYI I saw an amazing movie called 'Bulbbul' on netflix and I would really recommend it guys. It's such fierce story about a girl and horrors that we live with everyday, it's chilling. A visual masterpiece added to the collection of Indian Cinema.
While we are at it, let's also talk about the 'Masks' or in other words: the shields protecting us from our enemies; be it nosy people or the virus, it works bothways. Now, I know that it is really uncomfortable but so is our skin currently, so what is the perfect way to conceal our insecurities? It's the Mask! Seriously, we need to give it more credit for what it does.
Acclimatising ourselves to this new situation is difficult but it's also a new adventure and since we are not really left with a choice, let's try to experience this adventure with courage, an open mind and a Mask....seriously don't forget the mask..please guys.
