Nachos and News

Hello guys! How are you bunch of tortured souls holding up? Personally, I am just dreaming about these mouth-watering Nachos that I want to eat again and that just gives me strength.

Nowadays, news around us basically sounds like an overly enthusiastic script of a newbie horror film writer. Let's catch up, shall we?

1) We have a lot of contenders for a vaccine now, including India. Indian firms working on the vaccine include- Serum Institute of India, Zydus Cadilla, Indian immunologists limited and Bharat Biotech. Some of these vaccines have been allowed to conduct phase 1 and 2 of clinical human trials which will test their safety. This is a great news for us and hopefully we will have a lot of winners in this race. The more vaccines get developed, the more it reaches to every country and citizen.

2) American president Donald Trump, finally wore a face mask in public, for the very first time. Huh?...We are happy for him. Moving On.

3) There was yet another annoucement made that final year exams will be conducted. It has been met with a lot of criticism from students but it will be interesting to see how exactly our exams can be conducted in the middle of a pandemic.

4) Social media toxicity is thriving. A female comedian was attacked with rape threats and abuses in a video created by a guy because she made a joke about a conversation she read on quora about Shivaji Maharaj. The guy has been detained by the Vadodara police now and they have initiated the legal process to file an FIR against him.

5) There is a surge in shortages of COVID 19 medicines in India. This has led to a parallel black market which is taking undue advantage of the current crisis.

6) Kanye West has announced his intention to run for american president in this 2020 elections. In the reign of 2020, this does not even qualify for a bizarre event.

7) Mukesh Ambani has surpassed Warren Buffet to become the seventh richest person in the world. I mean..we are not even a tad bit surprised.

Also, If you are wondering about earthquakes- they are still partying hard. FYI, I gave into the social pressure and started watching 'Dark'. I haven't completed the series yet but it's safe to say that it's interesting but I am struggling a little bit. So, to give my brain a break, I watch K3G because Chandu ke chacha ne chandu ki chachi ko chandni raat me chandi ke chammach se chatni chatayi.
